Historical background
Pablo Gargallo Museum comprises:
- Ground floor/mezzanine: It includes monumental sculptures and those corresponding to collaborations of Gargallo in architectural projects, with the exception of ?The Great Poet?. In the mezzanine, the cardboards hall shows twelve sets of the templates used by Gargallo to design and to draw up the pieces with which he built his metallic plate works.
- First floor: It offers a general panoramic of the evolution of Gargallo sculptures during all his life, with works dating from 1904 until 1934, all of them representatives of the different creative and thematic periods of the artist.
- Second/third floors:It is showed a more specific approach to all the work of Gargallo, interrelating round bulk sculptures, masks, relieves, drawings, engravings, jewels, so that visitors can have a wider and more precise view of his works.
