TEATRO ARBOLÉ has been devoted to building and sustaining its craft since 1979. Our first venue opened its doors in May 1990 in Zaragoza’s Actur district, making us the most storied children’s theatre in the country.

After many journeys, in 2008 we moved to our current home in Zaragoza’s Parque del Agua Luis Buñuel—now a local and national point of reference. It has been 46 years building our little dream factory (1979–2025).

We have given countless performances, sharing passions with people from very diverse backgrounds, languages, and customs—always closely connected with schools and in support of education. For more than forty years we have been dedicated to theatre, crafting a whole cosmology around education, culture, and puppets, and building a profession.

We maintain a steady, year-round programme that seeks to embrace the widest range of artistic languages, with a clear priority for theatre for children and puppetry as a constant touchstone. We are—and will always be—a theatre for childhood.
