Zaragoza is the city of Goya. Here he lived, from shortly after birth, until he was 29 years old.
On this route we will follow in the footsteps of Goya in Zaragoza, the city where he lived throughout his childhood and youth, where he was trained as a person and as an artist and which he always carried in his heart.
We will walk through the historic center to get to know Goya's Zaragoza better. Where he lived? What was the city like that you visited so many times and where you learned to live and paint? What buildings were being built then? What events shook or filled its streets with celebration during the time of Goya?.
We will talk about the daily life of the people of Zaragoza. What did they do? What were their houses like? What did they buy in stores? What were their concerns and fears? What made them enjoy and what amused them?
This visit focuses on the first years of Goya's life in Zaragoza and how the genius he would later become emerged, so his work is not visited. If you are interested in Goya's work in Zaragoza, we recommend that you complement this visit with the Paseo de Goya.
