Zaragoza has been selected by the Spanish Tourism Institute (TURESPAÑA), under the Ministry of Industry and Tourism, as the host city of the 6th Turespaña Convention, to be held from October 20–22, 2026.
The candidacy, presented by Zaragoza Turismo with the backing of the city's tourism sector, was recognized as a solid and comprehensive proposal to host this key event, designed to reinforce Spain's leadership in global tourism.
The Turespaña Convention is the annual meeting point for the Spanish tourism industry, serving as a forum for exchanging insights, aligning international marketing strategies, and sharing best practices between public and private stakeholders.
Zaragoza will follow Cáceres, host of the 5th Convention in 2025, becoming the second consecutive inland destination to stage the event. The city's proposal highlights sustainability, including the calculation of the event's carbon footprint and the creation of a "Forest of the 6th Turespaña Convention."
The official announcement of Zaragoza as the next host will take place during the closing ceremony of the 2025 Convention in Cáceres.
