Auditorio - Palacio de Congresos

This imposing building was constructed in 1994 to a design by Manuel Pérez Latorre. On the outside it features a raised portico on tall pillars, whilst the interior houses a spacious, modern complex of services with a capacity for 10,000 people. Its versatility to host concerts, conferences, conventions and exhibitions makes it a pioneering building.
The "Sala Mozart", its finest concert hall, was conceived to provide optimum acoustics in the style of the Berlin Philharmonic Hall. Its wooden interior "performs" like another musical instrument.
