Escultura El Alma del Ebro

This work, by Jaume Plensa, consists of an 11 by 8 by 7.9metre structure, composed of numerous steel letters, that aims to highlight the importance of people living within large infrastructural settings. It is located inside the Expo 2008 site, between the former participants` pavilions and the Conference Centre and is close to the Water Tower. The sculpture seeks to unite the two motors of life; water and the human body.
