It was located opposite the Jewish quarter and the fortress known as the Castle of the Jews, which was on the site that is today home to the Seminary of San Carlos. This Castle also served as a prison, synagogue, hospital and butcher`s. Only one slightly rectangular-shaped room remains that is designed in the style of a cloister, with four sections in the short galleries and five in the long ones. It is cross-vaulted with ten columns separating the central rectangular space and is covered by a ribbed vault.
