Quiosco de la Música

It was designed by the Martínez Ubago brothers for the Hispano-French exposition in 1908. Prior to its current location it was placed in the Plaza de los Sitios and in Paseo Independencia, when the central avenue was pedestrianized.

The canopy structure was raised over a stone pedestal. Eight cast columns support a glass cover, in the centre of which there is a small dome decorated with coloured pieces of ceramic.

This is one of most beautiful and refined examples of modernism in Zaragoza. These days it is used for ballroom dancing and small-scale concerts.
