Pedalling around the other Zaragoza
There’s another Zaragoza beyond the Plaza del Pilar and its surroundings. And there are riverbanks beyond the River Ebro. It’s a green Zaragoza, inviting you to visit its most iconic park, the Parque José Antonio Labordeta, and grab a bike to get to know the charming banks of the Imperial Canal. Along this route, cyclists will discover a different pace to the city. The route is full of places which are as interesting as they are little-known, including a stop at the Museum of Natural Sciences, situated in the Faculty of Medicine where the Noble-prize winning Aragonese scientist, Santiago Ramón y Cajal, once studied.

The banks of the Imperial Canal are the perfect route for enjoying the local nature.
The Parque José Antonio Labordeta is one of the most traditional parks in the city. There are areas here which are special for the people of Zaragoza. Many of them learn to ride a bike here, and then when they’re older, return with their children to enjoy the peace, the gardens (including the Botanical gardens) and the unique buildings hidden amongst the centuries-old trees.
