Zaragoza Convention Bureau promotion activities in November 2020
30 noviembre 2020
Last November 10th, ZCB gathered their partners behind the screens thanks to a cultural activity organized by Gozarte, a local ZCB member company, in which the attendees could enjoy a virtual visit about Don Juan Tenorio.
The Zaragoza Ambassadors could also enjoy one of Gozartes "at home tours" on November 19th. On this occasion, the visit was about the traditions around El Pilar festivities, and it served for the Ambassadors to discover one of the activities they can include in their future events.
November 11th was the day for Zaragozas Chamber of Commerce to welcome ZCB to their Club. They organized a business breakfast with the Deputy Major, Sara Fernández, the Manager of Zaragoza Tourist Office, Conrado Molina, and the Director of the Convention Bureau, Miguel Ángel Argente. Through this action the local companies got to know the Convention Bureau services so that they can count on their support in their upcoming events.
ZCB also strengthened their position in the European MICE market with their participation in three virtual workshops organized by Spain Convention Bureau with French, Italian and British event organizers.
Last November 27th, ZCB held a virtual training session on sustainability for their partners on which it was also announced that ZCB is the first Convention Bureau in having implemented the Eventsost KEY platform among their services for event organizers. This tool enables the configuration of sustainability plans in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the 2030 Agenda. This methodology includes a carbon footprint calculator, a resources database, or a list with the most sustainable materials, among other solutions. This way, ZCB keeps and improves their commitment with sustainability that started more than a decade ago with the creation of their Good Practices Manual or the ZCB forest.
The Convention Bureau is also working on their new commercial presentation and prepares for this years virtual IBTM that will take place in December.
