Concerto Program is an initiative of the EU to support local communities in the development of concrete efficient initiatives from the point of view of sustainable development and renewable energies. Those communities, co-financed by Concerto, will work to get a system able to integrate the use of renewable energies, innovative technologies, and systems to minimize energy consumption to improve the citizens quality of life.

Renaissance Project is an objective of Concerto Program to promote demonstrative projects in the field of energetic efficiency and renewable energies in urban communities, including housing and also buildings and facilities of the services sector. Actions will take place in Valdespartera and Picarral districts, focusing on putting into practice solutions related to energetic efficiency and renewable energies already tested in pilot projects but that find difficulties in being developed in a bigger scale, in Valdespartera and Picarral districts.
The cities of Bracknell, UK; Lyon, France; and Zaragoza, Spain, participate in the project.

Switch Project is headed by UNESCO with the participation of the five continents. The aim is to carry out demonstrations related to saving and efficiency in the distribution of water. The project is developed in partnership with the Integral Water Cycle Service (Servicio del Ciclo Integral del Agua). A 30% of the budget is funded by EU.

"Cultures of Prevention" Project subsidized by the Directorate-General for Justice and Internal Affairs of the European Commission, in the framework of the Program AGIS 2004. Its aim is to organize several seminaries on cultural differences in the member States in the field of Prevention of Criminality.
