ciudades ave Network of Cities with High Speed Train.
The network of Spanish cities linked by high speed train was created in June 2004, and it is made up of the cities of Barcelona, Ciudad Real, Cordoba, Guadalajara, Lleida, Madrid, Seville, Calatayud, and Zaragoza. The aim of the network is to promote these cities taking into account that they are linked by high speed train.

ciudades ave Network of Cities for Climate and Support of the Earth Charter. Agreement of the Ministry for Environment -Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces.
The Network of Spanish Cities for Climate was created on June 1, 2005 in Getafe, Madrid, and it is linked with the FEMP, Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces.
Its aim is to promote policies of sustainable development, to boost local policies to fight against climatic change, and to achieve Kioto protocol, Local Agenda 21, and Aalborg Chart 10. 109 cities support the network.

ciudades ave Spanish Network of Public Owned Theaters, Auditoriums, Circuits, and Festivals.
This is a non-profit cultural association created in February 2000. The main aim is to encourage and boost an educated public in the field of stage and musical arts in Spain. 114 members support the network: 104 theatres and auditoriums, and 10 circuits and regional networks from the Autonomous Communities, forming a group of more than 450 public stages.

ciudades ave Aragonese Network of Local Entities Free of Violence against Women.
This network was born after the approval by the Government of Aragon of the Comprehensive Plan on the prevention and eradication of violence against women in Aragon, 2004-2007. Its headquarters are in the FAMCP, Aragonese Federation of Municipalities, Counties, and Provinces. The network aims to create in Aragon an interinstitutional collaboration in the field of the prevention and eradication of violence against women.

Network of Cathedral Cities.

Association of Spanish municipalities born with the intention of spreading its member cities as tourist and cultural places, favouring the economic development, and guaranteeing the conservation of its historical-artistic heritage. The constitution of this association is foreseen for 8 February 2006 in the city of Plasencia. .
