Participation in Community Programs allows cities to increase resources coming from the EU to carry out more local actions and to increase the presence of cities in the European Union, contributing to the process of integration.
Interreg III-A. The aim of cross-border cooperation among close areas is to develop economic and social centres through applying common strategies of development.

Revitasud Project. Its aim is to examine common problems of residential areas built after World War II, and call for proposals to improve the quality of life in those areas, boosting an adequate urban integration, based on environmental sustainability and social participation.
Revitasud is developed in four regions of the South of Europe: Aragon, Catalonia, the Basque Country and Midi Pyrenées, and more concretely in the cities of Zaragoza, Barcelona, Vitoria, and Toulouse.
