Community initiative: Interreg III-A (Spain/France) Project: Revitasud

Interreg III-A. The aim of cross-border cooperation among close areas is to develop economic and social centres through applying common strategies of development.

Revitasud Project. Its aim is to examine common problems of residential areas built after World War II, and call for proposals to improve the quality of life in those areas, boosting an adequate urban integration, based on environmental sustainability and social participation.
Revitasud is developed in four regions of the South of Europe: Aragon, Catalonia, the Basque Country and Midi Pyrenées, and more concretely in the cities of Zaragoza, Barcelona, Vitoria, and Toulouse.

SMRUZ. The Municipal Society for Urban Rehabilitation of Zaragoza, participates as leader of the project. Surveys and pilot projects in the districts of Las Fuentes and Delicias have been financed by the Program.

Community initiative Equal II- Empléate project.

Equal II is a Community initiative co-financed by the European Union through the European Social Fund (ESF) to fight against any form of discrimination and inequality in the work market, and in particular discrimination based on sex, culture, creed, and age.
