IGLESIA DE SAN MIGUEL The painter`s parents, José de Goya and Gracia Lucientes, got married in this church. The family resided in the Plaza de San Miguel from 1770 onwards.

PALACIO DE LOS CONDES DE SÁSTAGO The defence of Zaragoza during los Sitios (the Siege) originated from the palace. It suffered severe damage during the attacks by the French army and the Convento de San Francisco, which stood next door, was totally destroyed.

CALLE TENIENTE CORONEL VALENZUELA The Goyas lived in Calle de la Morería Cerrada, close to the spot where the street lies today, from 1736 to 1762, when they moved to the Coso neighbourhood. All of the children in the family, with the exception of Francisco, were born here. The ground floor of the building was occupied by the father`s gilding workshop.

ESCUELAS PIAS Goya attended school under the Piarists, where he formed a close friendship with Martín Zapater.

IGLESIA DE SAN GIL The Goyas were parishioners of this church, where Francisco was confirmed.

CASA DE PALAFOX The home of the Lazáns, a dynasty of which José Rebolledo de Palafox, Captain-General of the city`s defence forces during the Siege, was a member.

ARCHBISHOP`S PALACE  This palace`s Throne Room is home to the portrait of Archbishop Company painted by Goya.
